Business Community Impact Award
This award will recognise a business which demonstrates an innovative, collaborative, and proactive approach to corporate social responsibility and responsible business practice. While charities, social enterprises, and community interest companies (CICs) are not eligible to enter, we encourage them to apply for the Charity of the Year award.
The judges will be looking for evidence of the following:
- How you have tackled key issues to make a positive impact on the community
- An approach/community programme that has supported the local community
- The nature of contribution provided (time, skills, and resources) and the impact this has made on the local community
- Understanding of local needs and the increasing awareness and participation of staff
The awards are open to businesses with an ‘S’ postcode (within South Yorkshire) and all Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce members – regardless of the company location.
Finalists will not automatically be given tickets to attend the ceremony.
